Reluctant Readers (Grades 1-4)
Would your child rather clean their room, go to the dentist, fold laundry, *and* wash the car than pick up a book and read? Our tutors will encourage your student's love of reading and ensure that they upgrade their reading level through the summer. WritersWorkshop_Grades1-4Writer’s Workshop (Grades 1-4)
Teachers, college admissions offices, and hiring companies all agree: students who write well guarantee their own success. This course incorporates grammar basics, the principles of writing, and storytelling techniques. STEMSuperStarsSTEM Super Stars (Grades 3-5)
This 6-week, one-on-one course includes coding, science, technology, engineering, and math favorites including LEGO robotics, circuits, hands-on science, programming, advanced math, and more. Optional: this course can be extended an extra 2 weeks (for a total of 8 weeks). Enroll online!

 

 

ThirdGradeMathThird Grade Math
Whether your outgoing third grader needs some extra help or your incoming third grader wants a head start on the upcoming year, this standards-based math course couples a solid conceptual foundation with a progressive emphasis on problem solving and critical reasoning.

FourthGradeMathFourth Grade Math
In fourth grade, math concepts and problem solving increase, and sometimes even top students struggle with the transition. Fourth grade students need a solid, stress-free approach to analyzing math, and this course will provide that educational foundation. These sessions can be customized for outgoing fourth graders or incoming fourth graders.

This course makes writing less intimidating and overwhelming, and can help struggling students prepare for the upcoming year. This 8-week session will develop struggling writers into confident communicators, and will help advanced writers rise to the top of examinations and applications. ACT_WritingWriter’s Workshop: ACT Writing
Question: What is more difficult: writing under pressure, writing without spell check, or writing an essay after taking the English, math, reading, and science sections of the ACT?
The correct answer: all of the above, which is why students who prepare specifically for the writing exam will consistently improve their scores. This individual, one-on-one writing course helps students prepare for the ACT writing test and also provides strategic guidance for optimizing time and succeeding on the last leg of an exhausting standardized test. When applying for college admissions and scholarships, your essay can make (or break) your success. But few students understand the strategy and skills involved in creating an excellent essay. This course will guide your student through each step in the college essay process. Students are encouraged to bring drafts of previous essays and question prompts from specific applications.
