When a naturally talented student feels forced to "slow down", not only do they lose momentum and the progress that comes with learning at a natural pace, but they can also lose their love of learning.
Regardless of grade-level expectations and state-mandated benchmarks, we encourage students to pursue their passions and interests with vigor! A few examples include young scientists and mathematicians who improve their critical thinking and problem-solving skills or develop new skills by learning how to build and program their own robot; as well as students with a passion for writing who spend the summer penning their first novel, submitting a story pitch to a local magazine for publishing, or digging deeper into formal writing to sharpen their skills for college.
Our tutors include are instructors at the Northwestern University Center for Talented Development (for gifted students K-12); a published, award-winning writer; a mathematician; ACT test prep tutors who have increased scores up to 9 points; and more.
Each student is different and we work individually with you and your child to develop their best enrichment plan.
